Dobinsons Kit to suit Jeep Grand Cherokee (WH & WK models)
4WD suspension specialists, Dobinsons, have a new raised, heavy duty suspension kit for the Jeep Grand Cherokee models (2006 on).
The kit incorporates new front and rear twin-tube gas shock absorbers that are designed to work in conjunction with their raised coils at both front and rear.
It gives improved handling both on and off road and reduces sway and body roll. Passenger comfort is improved and the 45mm raised height allows for greater ground clearance in 4WD conditions.
The kit is very affordable and easy to fit. It comes with a 40,000km/2 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Dobinsons Gas Shock Absorbers have the following features:
- Tough twin tube design has the benefit of holding larger volume of oil (keeping the internal workings cooler) and improved protection of internal working components
- Low pressure nitrogen gas which eliminates aeration within the oil reservoir, meaning no bouncing, sloppiness nor deterioation of ride
- Teflonned piston rings produce less wear and heat to the bore and increase the life of the shock absorber
- Special anti-bump stops preserve the piston from extreme impacts when fitted to vehicles with coil spring suspension systems
- Valve coding maximises off-road and on-road performance
- Valve stacking system controls dampening laws and permits a record response time in any situation, enhancing safely and comfort
